The Post Mail Art Projekt kicks off the Post Memorial Art Reference Library’s exhibit season for 2015. A reception is planned for Sunday, January 11 from 2–4pm. Light refreshments will be available, as well as experts that will be happy to answer any and all questions you might have about “mail art.”
For the past year, people all over the world have been sending “mail art” to the Post Art Library. The exhibit includes 100+ pieces, from decorated envelopes – to paintings and prints – to 3-dimensional objects. The purpose of the Post Mail Art Projekt is to encourage any and all to correspond creatively via so-called snail mail. The exhibit will be on display throughout the month of January.
