The Post Art Library provides a beautiful and peaceful haven in the heart of downtown Joplin. Housed in a separate wing of the Joplin Public Library, it is an independent institution endowed and administered by the Winfred and Elizabeth Post Foundation. The Post Art Library is furnished with fine antique furniture and rare art works from the Post collection along with regular exhibitions of local artwork from artists from the Joplin area. It also serves as the place to go for information about Joplin’s historic architecture.
