Joplin Public Library (1902)

Since its establishment in 1902 the Joplin Public Library (JPL) has been a long-standing fixture in the local community. JPL is more than a place for books. The library serves residents from Joplin and surrounding areas with vast online and physical collections, public spaces and facilities, informational services, and educational programs for all ages. All of their offerings “open tomorrow’s doors today through diverse opportunities to learn, create, explore, and have fun.”
