Description: Route 66 Mural Park is a public park established in 2013 to recognize U.S. Route 66 and the historic highway’s impact on Joplin as well as its importance in America. The park is home to two tile murals, Cruisin’ Joplin and Joplin: Along the American Ribbon, which were produced by Images in Tile USA and designed by artists Chris Auckerman and Jon White. Located on the south side of Pearl Brothers at 7th and Main Streets, tourists traveling down the Mother Road can stop for quick photo-op beside the murals or the bifurcated, red Corvette, which also resides in the park.
