Artist Statement: This mural, titled Together We Create, was designed during two weekend workshops hosted by Art Feeds. More than 50 participating children brainstormed, drew, and painted while learning to cooperate with each other and harness their creativity to help improve their community. The children’s designs were then compiled into one cohesive mural, which was placed on the back of Mercy Park’s existing On the Wings of Butterflies mural.
