January 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Monday & Tuesday | January 17 & 18 | 7:00pm
At Studio 124 (124 S Main St)
In 1920s Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap. . . until he realizes he’s been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune, and acquittal. Auditions will consist of singing, choreography, and cold reading. Performers are asked to dress for dance auditions and bring a one-minute cut of a song that demonstrates their vocal abilities. Performance runs March 17–19 and 24–26. Free and open to the public. More information: Becki Arnall, email@example.com, 417.622.6470.
