The Whole Story: A Decolonial Cross-Cultural Day Institute

January 27 @ 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The Whole Story is an annual conference that focuses on promoting inclusion at Missouri Southern State University and addressing difficult topics surrounding diversity in higher education. Each year, scholars kick off the conference with plenaries that focus on experiences and literature of Black, Indigenous, or People of Color, prompting discussion and several short, hands-on sessions. This year’s conference will be held via Zoom. The conference will begin at noon, with a plenary at 12:15pm and breakout sessions featuring MSSU’s African Art Collection, Decolonization and Diversity at KCU, and literature following at 1:15pm, 2:15pm, and 3:15pm. Donations support the conference as well as a scholarship for BIPOC students. Registration required; to register, visit forms.office.com/r/jnTYpj1uWN. Suggested Donation: $10. More information: Megan Bever, bever-m@mssu.edu.
